Write a comment 'The difference between John McCain and Jim Webb is that Senator McCain respects our military and appreciates them, Senator Webb feels sorry for them.' You are an idiot for this statement, as you don't have a clue on how much Webb values the Service of all of our Armed Forces. After being partially paralyzed by shrapnel and medevaced, he left the Marines in 1972 because of his wounds and went on to become the SECNAV under Reagan. With the Navy Cross, 1 Siver Star, 2 BS's (w/V's for Valor) and 2 Purple Hearts earned during less than 1 year 'In-Country' w/1st Bn, 5th Marines, I seriously doubt that Webb is a 'Feeling Sorry' type, but a Warrior that wants to make sure our Country shows its proper gratitude to all of these new, all Volunteer warriors serving now. 'Supporting Our Troops' is more than displaying those 'Made in China' truck magnets. Donate to the DAV instead of buying these Meaningless trinkets. Actions speak louder than false statements by McCain who says the Webb Bill would encourage troops to leave the Service after 1 Enlistment. Better Bennies ENCOURAGE Enlistment. Semper Fi to all who have Served and are Serving now. Cpl./Patrol Leader-USMC-64-68 2nd Bn, 1st Marines-CAP/CAC Marine-66-67 www.capmarine.com
