Write a comment I ride the Blue and Yellow lines every day. Plenty of military personnel ride, too, and I've never seen an incident like the ones described here. It also doesn't appear that military personnel are taking any special precautions to avoid "incidents" with civilians. They are DEFINITELY still wearing their uniforms. Desert camo is much in evidence. I remember the atmosphere in the 70s when my father was required to wear a business suit rather than his uniform. As far as I can see, nothing similar is happening today. A search of the FTA's website didn't turn up any memo of this nature. Google found only other blogs. Not saying this is a hoax - just that I'd like to see the official document before judging.
