For the sacrifice they make day after day. Thanks to them I can live in peace and freedom and do what I do. My prayers for the troops and their families. May they all come home safely again. Thank you Michael for share this great picture of honor with us! Be safe ....

There just is no way to thank them appropriately. I do hope all will contribute to several of the many organizations (USO et al) that send gift baskets, make financial aid available for spouses and children and look after the wounded warriors when they return.
They are worthy of all of that and much more.

He believes very much in what we are trying to accomplish in Afghanistan, but said that the Pentagon does a damn poor job of explaining the mission clearly to the public, and does a poor job of explaining the progress we are actually making there. To an outsider, it is so very easy to take a few looks and wonder what in the world we are trying to do there. Michael,, perhaps you can try to explain our mission there for us outsiders. He said that from now until October the Taliban usually makes their most offensive efforts, because of crops, etc. Peace, and Good Luck !
